A Few Things That Have Happened

My summer is going great and I thought I would post a few things of what I've been doing just to catch up.

First off, my parents went on a cruise for a week and that friday us girls had a movie night and facials and pizza it was really fun!

And the mask really worked!! My face felt good for days. It was made with nutmeg and honey. 

We also spent like a half an hour taking pictures of us trying to go cross eyed...we're so easily amused

None of us could really do it 

I also am in this baking mood all I wanna do is bake!! I've made several loaves of banana bread and cookies and jam, i made a very berry jam it has strawberries,blueberries, and raspberries in it, it's delicious!!

And we had our Hanks Annual Moab Camping Trip a few weeks ago. We stayed in one of our favorites Archview and we went to Arches National Park. Sadly my camera died on the trip so I dont have that many pictures

It was so hot down there in Moab, we went into town and got some ice cream just to cool down a little bit... and it was delicious ice cream

One thing I noticed while we were in the park was the many shirtless men. I haven't seen that many shirtless men ever in the park and some of the men should not have taken their shirts off

If you don't look like this with your shirt off, you should just keep that shirt on.

I also recently got new sunglasses because my blue ones are broken and I finally broke down and got new ones

I miss my blue ones.. they are now hanging in my rearview mirror as a relic. I refuse to throw them away.

Let's catch up...again!!

I haven't been on here in so long they went and changed the whole format and everything.....Im so confused right now!!!

But now that school has finally ended and it's summer I think  I might have a little more time to blog..maybe i'll finally finish my harry potter 30 day challenge.

Let's see last time I blogged I went on and on about Korean shows and as an update: I'm still obsessed. I'm actually watching one right now called City Hunter and it's really really good I was hooked after the first episode

What else????

I moved back home for the summer a couple of weeks ago and I gotta say I really really really miss most of my roommates

We had to be out of our apartment friday afternoon but michelle and leslie had to stay in logan so I took the weekend off of work and we spent most of the whole day friday together and slept over at maryann's new apartment

We had so much fun

We took pictures

We went ice skating. Leslie was actually pretty good, she kept showing off. I was surprised about how good I was and I haven't been ice skating in a looonnngg time.

And we also went hot tubbing

It was a great day and just thinking about it makes me really really miss these guys. We got together again for maryann's wedding and I mostly talked to Leslie but it was sooo good to see them again. Hopefully we'l hang out a lot this summer, im sure if we do you'll hear about it

It was a great year living in Anderson Apartment 6. There's a lot about it I miss, I miss the ward, I miss my neighbors by the end of the year I got to know a few more of the neighbors. I finished my second year of college and I had a lot of challenges and I swear it's gonna take me forever to get into my program..one of these day

I'm still working at that call center place but good news!! Im not working there for very long I just got a job in Brigham for the summer and I'm really excited about that. I am also happy to finally be leaving that place. It was a good experience but not the best.

Why haven't I done this yet??

I feel like an absolute dork that I am actually gonna admit this on the internet but I have a new obsession and it is not pinterest.

It's.............

KOREAN DRAMAS!!!

My roommates MaryAnn and Michelle have been trying to get me to watch them all week and a couple weeks ago we watched one called Heartstrings and I fell in love with it!!

This one is about a boy named Shin who is EXTREMELY attractive and a girl named gyu won which i can't pronounce and they fall in love. It's adorable. We watched all 16 episodes in one weekend. I may have bought the show recently

And then last week I watched this one everyone says is really good and it's called

You're Beautiful

And in this one the girl pretends to be her twin brother and joins a boy band and all three guys fall for her. The whole show is about her trying to conceal her identity and she falls head over heels for the lead singer. Just like the last one this one is also adorable!!! And I watched it in about a week or so. 

I haven't watched them in awhile I may be going through withdrawls

But I recommend you watch them, they are a little silly but really good. I can't wait to get my heartstrings dvds soon!!! I splurged and got them

I love them and I never thought I would

Let's Catch Up

WOW!!!!

It has been like an EXTREMELY long time since the last time I posted and a lot has happened since december i believe......you know it's been a long time when i can't even remember the last time i actually posted anything.

So anyway let's there were some major holidays I didnt even post about like christmas, new years, valentine's day. 

I gotta tell you this, this is what I love about being up at college, On valentine's day we were all just hanging out in the apartment, I had gotten the day off thankfully ( yeah I finally got a job but more of that later) and then my roommate comes and says to me and my other roommate that there are boys here and one is in a monkey suit. These boys had come to serenade us and they have us each a chocolate kiss. It was sooo nice!! And slightly adorable. I still have no idea who was in the gorilla suit but i'm fairly certain they were from my ward.

So about my job, I'm not allowed to say much about it but I can say this. I am looking for a new one, its not a bad situation but every day i go in i just want it to be over, and it is not been consistent either so that makes it hard. 

I got three new roommates this semester which is almost over!!! Im only slightly worried because I have absolutely no idea where I am going to live next year and i got so much i still need to do. College life is almost over for the year and I have a HUGE assignment due this week and stressing out about it but of course I'm doing a blog post.

Anyway three new roommates and it's been different. My new like actual room roommate and I actually get a long really well I count her as one of my best friends at the moments, we got along right from the start. My other two roommates that aren't maryann and michelle...............................well that's another blog post in and of itself but its been fine.

I think that's all I really need to catch you up one but I do have another blog post coming after this one about one of my new obsessions. Be prepared its a good one!!

Day 7: Xenophilius Lovegood

Day 7: Favorite Female Character and Why?

That is a hard one, the whole series is riddled with strong women that would be great examples.

I think I would have to go with Hermione. She is someone I've always wanted to be, intelligent, pretty, responsible, and likeable

She is just a great example. Even Emma Watson who portrays her is someone any young girl could look up to, she doesnt act like all the other famous young girls in hollywood, she's just like hermione.

There are a ton of women in the series i would look up to.

Day 5: Professor Umbridge

Day 5: Favorite Male Character and Why?

Although Harry Potter is a great character nothing is better than Ronald Weasley. He is probably the most loyal person in the book. he'd do anything for Harry and Hermione.He's funny and intelligent and one of the more entertaining characters.And it's not just because of the red hair i really do like him

Day 4: The Goblet of Fire

Day 4: Least favorite Character and Why?

This is a hard one

 I love every single character. It amazes me that J.K. Rowling could come up with a world of people and have them all be different is kinda awesome

I thought of one..........Professor Umbridge

This character is about as evil as Lord Voldemort but in a very subtle way

There are little things like that quill she makes the students use for punishment and how she is very strict and has all this power.

The first time I read the book I didnt catch any of that but then in the movie I came to realize how corrupted she really is

Day 5 tomorrow!!! These might not be coming each day....finals are coming and I might possibly finally have a job so we'll see i might be getting a little too busy

Day 3: The Marauder's Map

Day 3: Which if any of the films have made you angry because they've ignored important parts of the book.

Would it be really nerdy if I went through each movie??

I better not, I'm already a big nerd this would not help 

The biggest thing I wish they had explained was the mirror in Part 1.

In the fifth book Sirius gives harry a mirror and tells him to use it whenever he wants to talk, but harry doesn't he completely forgets about it until the end of the book I think

In the seventh book harry has that mirror on him constantly and can see someone in it, who is Aberforth, Dumbledore's brother.

In the movies both the 5th and the 7th it doesn't explain it very well. In part 2 Aberforth gets it in a completely different way from the book......I think I havent read that one in awhile. 

But it's never mentioned!!!!

Quite Annoying

There are a few things in each book they should have put in the movie but you can't make a 500 page book with all that information into a good movie, you have to cut somethings.

This is gonna be hard because I love them all, every single one of them, there is something about each of them that I like so to pick a favorite out of the 8 i guess is gonna take some thinking

I'm gonna have to say

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and 2, it's the same movie just in two different parts

This movie is completely different from the other ones, it's intense and emotional, it really does go out with a big BOOM(get it? I just referenced the movie.............yep i'm a dork)

It was done so good, exactly how it should have done. I just LOVED IT!!!!

Day 1: Favorite book out of the 7

That one is easy!

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The reason why this one is my favorite is because for once, this book doesn't involve Voldemort, well he's mentioned but he doesnt make an appearance at all in this book. In this book we learn more about harry's dad and the way he was at school. J.K. Rowling really should write a book about them it would be pretty good. I even have the british version of this book.

I could read this one over and over again, heck i read the whole series over and over again. I love it!!!

Forever Is Only The Beginning

The Twiligth Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 is released in theatres.

I LOOOOVVEEEEDDDD ITTT!!!!!!

It was emotional, funny, romantic, sad, intense, and just downright THE BEST ONE YET!!!

I loved the wedding scene, the honeymoon scenes were adorable, getting to see things from Jacob's point of view was new and something I looked forward to. The birth scene was a little...uh.. gorey but i dont think they could have done it a better way.

I heard a lot of people at the midnight showing say they hated this movie. First off ( Im gonna rank here a little bit) it's a two part movie, they can't make everything that exciting and climatic in the first part. Also in the book not much happens in the first part, sure a lot more does but they can't put that all into a movie. Some people just need to remember that there is a book and there is a movie, they're two separate things and should be treated and viewed that way. if not........well you just aren't gonna like anything.

But yes Breaking Dawn was the best of all, the others can't compare. I loved spending the evening with my sisters and my cousin. I love going to the midnight showings,they're always just so fun. Friday I spent the whole day sleeping, no lie, I would turn on an episode of the office and immediately be asleep. I didn't go to one class.

Now all I need to do is convince someone to see it witn me again I really wanna see it again.

You should all go see it, it's great.

I'm 20!!!

October 30,2011 yes only a few days ago I turned the right old age of 20 years old!!! I had a great birthday!!!!

I got so many birthday wishes on facebook and from my family and roommates I felt very special

My day started with stake conference where the Prophet spoke. What a treat that was!!! The prophet spoke on my birthday.......of course it wasnt just to me but still I got to hear him on my birthday

Then since I now live in Logan I had my family except Jamie come up to Logan and we had chicken alfredo at my grandma's house

I had a great time there and I got a lot of presents which I will tell you about later, but unfortunately there won't be many pictures cuz i didnt take pictures I'm just that lazy.

While I was at my grandma's house my visiting teachers and Relief Society Presidency came over and from them i got this card with a little message from them that i thought was so great and a twix which i ate and enjoyed!!!

Now onto the presents

that's my cake. I told my mom i wanted chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and m&ms on it. It was delicious!!!

My sister Katelyn got this for me I cant wait to sit down and read it!!



Anecia and Michael got this for me!!! Unfortunately

my roommates arent big fans so i havent played it yet

Jamie got this for me!!! She kept saying my present is better than

anyone else's. It is pretty cool

My mom got me jeans from old navy which unfortunately were kinda huge so i went yesterday and got a smaller size and they were still too big!!! now i gotta exchange again.....they don't have a limit do they?

My dad got me a $20.00 gift card so i can get the breaking dawn soundtrack!! and my parents gave me this card with girls in the twenties and it says

" Well behaved women rarely make history'

As for my roommates, I didnt think they were gonna do anything, just say Happy Birthday and just be done with it but on monday they went and got me present and some cupcakes. I kinda was already having a bad day and seeiing them do taht for me made me want to cry....My roommates are great!!

They got me Sweeney Todd which I just watched. They found it at hastings and i was there for like a half an hour looking for it but I'm glad they got it for me. We're gonna watch it tomorrow

The best thing they got me was running shoes, i got with them to the gym and run a lot and i've been wearing my old worn down converse and they got these for me for my birthday!! How thougthful!! I just hope they didnt spend too much money on them. I wore them to the gym today and they were so comfortable, they fit great and were AMAZING!! I need to repay them somehow.

And cupcakes......I already told you that though huh?

And one of my best friends and roommate got me THOR!! I didnt expect that but she knew i wanted it so she bought it for me

I Blame My Roommate

You know that new website everyone is talking about called Pinterest

well my rommmate got me hooked last night and I sat there and repinned and repinned EVERYTHING in sight. Anything cute, adorable, vintage, decorative yep I pinned it on one ofthe many boards I created I have like 10.

Here are just a few things I saw and absolutely loved

I wanna learn how to do this!! But I'd probably just make my mom

I absolutely LOVE this!!! And then I do other things with it

like put pictures and other things on it. I just need to find a windowpane

Pretty clever idea something I would never think of. They got vases and put rubberbands on them then spraypainted it.....so clever

Roommate Bonding!!!

Howdy Y'all. It's been awhile since my last post but that's mostly because I've had nothing to really blog about and school has kept me kinda busy. I'm still trying to find a job so if anyone knows anything let me know cuz i'm sick of not hearing back after interviews. But this isnt a post about me venting.

So like I said school has been fun and I'm getting along great with my roommates. We're always watching movies and finally we are now doing things together.....not that we havent before but it's more often now. Also Ice Cream has become a stable in our apartment we always have it or we are always eating it.

So last night we .....well most of us had a facial and did homework except for me cuz I ws done with my homework and we watched Easy A

Once everyone was home we all except for one who sadly already had plans went to Angie's and cleaned the sink

For those of you who dont know what the sink is at angie's its basically a small sink with ice cream and bananas and toppings.
