Day 2

I totally mixed up the days for this thing. Yesterday should have ben favorite song and today be favorite movie but I guess I was so excited to do favorite movie I totally forgot to do favorie song. But im excited to do favorite song because I absolutely love music!!!!!! So anyway this has been a very difficult to decide so again I decided on like my top 5.
1. Ive recently discovered Florence+ The Machine and I wish I could sing like her. And i like all of her songs but two stand out.
                    1. Heavy In Your Arms on the eclipse soundtrack is just absolutely
                        AMAZING!!!! The song is awesome, the music wonderful, and the vocals are amazing. I blast this song in the car and just sing along like nobody's watching me
            2. Cosmic Love. I love the music in this song. It starts off all quiet and then at the chorus the drums come in and it is thrilling. I blast this one at work cuz its on my playlist and sing along....good thing i work alone
My other favorite song that im liking at the moment is Down by Jason Walker. I dont know what it is about this song that just makes me love it the first time I heard it I instantly loved it.
I think that's all I'll probably think of one tonight while im trying to get to sleep but oh well

Day 1

Today's topic is Favoriet Movie.......
This one is gonna be hard Im a movie so any movie I see I like, I dont even have a top ten , its like a top fifteen and that list isnt even set in stone. So finding my favorite movie is taking me a lot of thinking. But I decided Im just gonna give a list of 3 or something like that.
So my all time favorite movie is " Singin in the Rain" My mom has made me a huge fan of old movies and I absolutely love this one. I cant even pinpoint why its my favorite it just is.
2. drumroll please............. Harry Potter!!!!
I absolutely love the books Ive read them all like 5 times ( i reduced the number so i wouldnt sound like a huge nerd) Ive seen the movie a thousand times and I have a pretty good collection of harry potter things.

  And I gotta admit I have had a huge crush on both Ron and Harry but who wouldnt they are quite cute and british so thats like the whole package

So let's see now I guess I gotta say my third......now thats a hard one. Most of the people around me will automatically think of Twilight.  My friends think thats all I watch but frankly i havent watched either twilight or new moon in at least 4 months.. But I think my 3rd all time favorite movie is ........ maybe a tie between Letters to Juliet and The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.... I think I cant decide, Im just gonna have to make a list. But thats my favorite movie

Im Soooo Old!!!

 So yesterday October 30 was my 19th birthday. I know Im getting sooo old its so weird. It was pretty cool to have my birthday on the unofficial day of halloween. When I was little it was so cool cuz then I got presents and candy on the same day it was like I was hitting the jackpot but now that Im older its not as cool.  We started celebrating my birthday on friday and we went to Maddox for dinner which was delicious. I stayed up till midnight to tell myself Happy Birthday. Everyone does that right.....right? I was expecting a happy birthday text at midnight from my sister cuz thats her thing but she was already asleep. That morning my mom made breakfast burritos for breakfast which is good cuz I was craving one really bad.



The most memorable thing I did on my birthday was my haircut ( you'll see it in later pictures) Ive been wanting a hair cut for awhile and I finally got around to calling and I finally got the style I wanted. Plus I figured since im 19 I wanted a change and this was the perfect way. I chopped a lot off I didnt even wanna hear i probably would have started panicking. But its so cute and exactly what I wanted. i absolutely love it.

After that We went up to Logan so my mom could get the presents and I could get me some new jeans for my birthday. While my family was getting my present I sat at my grandma's house and she told me all these ghost stories and we just talked. My grandma and grandpa are so funny i love talking to them.

Time to get to the presents.From my grandma and grandpa I got $20. My grandma kept saying i got $19 plus a dollar. From my family I got the new moon piano music, I really just enjoy the music and love to play the piano. I also got the eclipse score which is amazing. I got the vampire diaries soundtrack which has some awesome songs on it. I also got a cd thingy I can put on my visor- do those things even have a name- also from my grandma i got these fleece pj pants that are super soft and warm....oh and pens.

I didnt really do much for my birthday. I gave out the candy to the trick or treaters which is fun I like to see the costumes. Me and my sisters went to go get ashpalt and concrete pie at wingers..it was delicious!!!! And when I got home we watched The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. If you havent seen that movie you definitely need to its the best!! Don Knotts is hilarious.

I loved getting all the birthday wishes from my friends and I spent the day just like  i wanted to, with my family. Im not a big party person and every time I have one 2 or 3 people come so I wanted to spend the day with my family. This birthday was awesome and perfect I wouldnt have changed a thing.

Time to Catch Up

It's been awhile since I last blogged. My main excuse is that I havent done anything blogworthy and I havent really thought of a subject. To be honest I have had a couple subjects pop into my head but it was just too personal, I didnt really wanna put it out there for everyone to read. But my life so far has been pretty okay. Its just the same routine practically everyday i get up i go to school i do homework and i go to work. I have had a couple movie night with friends. Also my sister got me hooked on ONE TREE HILL I love that show!!!
But I wanted to talk about my experience today. For all you who are LDS its a very exciting weekend this weekend. Its general conference and we get to hear council from the prophet and general authorities.

This year since I am a single young adult I got the opportunity to go with a couple of friends. I wish I had taken a camera I could have gotten some good pictures. But we went down to the conference center to listen. The highlight of the day was when I got to actually got to see the Prophet. It was so cool, when he entered the room it all went quiet. And I got to sustain them as the prophet and general authorities, i usually do that in the living room while Im watching it on tv. I have to admit I sorta dozed through the whole session. But I did take some notes in my planner cuz I forgot a notebook another thing I wish I had brought.
Robert D. Hales a general authority said " Returning to the lord isn't easy but it's worth it"
Quintin L. Cook also a general authority said " It is by the Lord that men know good from evil"
Richard Higby presiding bishop said" CHOOSE FAITH, We ar responsible of our own faith and our lack of our faith. It is a choice"
This experience made me grateful to be a member of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints and I am proud to say it.
Of course the day was pretty fun too, we got lost and saw the stake president and his wife, we ate at subway and just talked  I really enjoyed it.

Peach Days!!!

So this weekend was PEACH DAYS!! All of you are reading and dont know what the heck peach days is, its just a celebration my town has for the harvest-i think-cuz my town is pretty big on peaches we have acres of them. So thats what this weekend was and it was probably the funnest weekend ive had in awhile.
             The weekend started off with me and my friend going to peach days mostly cuz i wanted to get out of the house. We had a great time, we went to all the booths, saw some cool rings and jewelry that i wanted to buy but sadly didnt have the money ( and thats a whole other story) and then we got bored and cold so we came back and watched PUSH. that movie always makes me wish i could move stuff with my mind or be able to see the future

Saturday was the BIG day. Our morning started out with a parade. I had to pass out flyers for work so I missed most of it but what I saw it was pretty great. We had family with us and little kids running for candy it was pretty entertaining. I must admit sometimes its kinda fun to go for the candy. My little cousin would show me every piece of candy he got and then put it in the bag and then he would show me all the candy in the bag.

       After the parade we all went back to my house for a BBQ. We had homemade salsa peachces of course and sloppy joes, but you probably dont care one bit what we had. It was really entertaining to see my little twin cousins interact together and its just great to get together as a family.

Of course Me and my cousins went and walked around the booths,got us some free cheese and buttons, Katie entered into like every drawing, and we got flipped off. People at peach days get annoying plus that was the first time ive ever been flipped off. But it was great to just hang out wtih my cousins for a few hours and i saw an old friend from high school. I really do miss those friends.

Saturday evening me and my friend decided to go back to Peach Days to see the hypnotist. But I also found that my sister got engaged!!!!!!!! it was so unexpected and i wish i would have known. But anyway we sat there in the park forever waiting for the hypnotist, we had to listen to some lame beach boys cover band play. But the hypnotist was great, if you havent seen a hypnotist you have got to before you die it is like the funniest thing you will ever see the people just act like idiots. Personally I would never do it , i dont wanna make an idiot of myself. But i could go on and on about all the funny things the people do. Overall it was a great peach days weekend and I cant wait for next year.

Its finally hit me

So as you know like 4 months ago I graduated high school. It was the best time of my life, high school was, i went to football and basketball games, hung out with my friends and had a great time in all my classes and of course like any normal girl got a crush or two. But it never really hit me that I was officially graduated from high school. But school started this week for me and the high school and I realized sunday night that I was never going back to high school I had to start my new life as a college student. So after my emotional breakdown on sunday night I was nervous and excited to start this new chapter in my life. I have to say it kept hitting me all week that I was in college and everything I do now affects my future. I made it through my first week without any problems. I gotta say some of these teachers are prettyimonument. Oh and he's a huge harry potter fan he kept talking about it. He also swears which is pretty funny cuz usually teachers arent supposed to do that......right? But my other teachers are pretty cool i got an old man that reminds me of a hippie and two teachers who are very soft spoken and has probably never said a swear word in their life. I think im gonna like college I just cant wait to get enough money so I can move out and experience the real college life.. you know the roommates, the partying and thhe football and basketball games.
