Windy Weekend

I realize it's been awhile and for you all readers who check my blog every single day(like that would happen) Im sorry but I have a few things I need to update you on.
First.
Now this is a Big one. As you can see on my picture at the top of the blog I am wearing braces but guess what??????
THEY'RE OFF!!!!!!!
It happened about 2 weeks ago and its been amazing!!!!
I cann not stop smiling, my teeth just look so pretty. When i first got them off I thought they were huge like horse's teeth I was a little worried there for awhile. But i guess now you would like to see a picture of my teeth.........
Here you go!!
Second: As you all know we recently had Memorial Day weekend and every year my family gets together and we go camping and this year we went down to Capitol Reef.
First my grandma took us to my grandpa's grave so we could put flowers by it.

I picked the flowers!!!
It was a fun weekend. My family got there friday night and we had to set up our trailer and then go straight to bed.
Saturday we went into the park and went on a few hikes.
These are my cute little cousins on the first hike we did. It was called the gooseneck hike, really short. We then did the grand wash hike which was basically walking on river that was dried up. Apparently it only flows when there is a lot of water. It was a hard hike it felt like we were walking in sand on a beach.
Sunday we headed up to Goblin Valley while the rest of the family went to church. If you havent been to Goblin Valley you definitely need to go it is as fun as like Disneyland.
That's basically all it is and you get to climb around. We were there for like an hour and we got pretty far just climbing rock after rock.
We had a great time there.
But of course the wind was HORRIBLE!!!! It blew and blew the whole weekend. At nights it was loud and I could not sleep and during the day it blew dust that got into our eyes mouth and hair. Everyone ended up going home sunday afternoon and we decided to stick it out......until dinnertime. It kept getting really really cold and my grandma decided she just wanted to go home so we packed it up and left.
While there this weekend we played a couple card games mostly because we were bored and because of the wind we didnt do much. A couple years ago my family made up this game called High Hand but now we call it " In it to win it". It's like a gambling game. We played it for a good hour and a half and I lost :(
We were betting those frootie tooties. If you had the highest number of cards you won the whole stack. It a very addicting game
We were pretty loud while we were playing and we kind of kicked my parents out of the trailer. My cousin JJ came over to show us where they were
There were just sitting in the Ford reading a book. It was quite funny.
All in all a good weekend except for the cold and the wind.
Till next time, Jodi
