I wish I had been There

So as you all know yesterday was the big event of 2011

The Royal Wedding!!!

At first I wasn't going to watch anything about the wedding, I was just gonna watch movies all day cuz I was sick of hearing about it.

But then I turned the tv on and every single channel had something about it. I thought "might as well" I turned to E! and watched it and I was hooked

I fell in LOVE with the dress Kate Middleton wore

Became a fan of Prince William.....thought he was super cute!!!

The balcony kiss was my absolute favorite!! I giggled like a school girl cuz it was that cute!!!

And the hats were CRAZY, I would like to wear one of them. But none of them seemed to go on the head it was like the forehead or something which I thought was weird.

And it made me want to get married to a prince in england or just be in england way bad!!!!

Yeah i was a little obsessed its what I watched practically all day.

Easter 2011!

I know its a litte late but HAPPY EASTER Everyone!!

Im only late because I'm studying my butt off for finals, I've barely made a dent in the things I need to have by next week

Easter this year was pretty great. We did the usual easter egg hunt at my grandmother's house and an easter basket. If you wanted to know, in my easter basket this year I got silverware! I know lame but Im moving out in august and I need silverware. I also got a buttload of candy, and sweet neon green socks and Footloose!! Which is one of my favorite movies!!

This is my little cousin Ava who kept everyone entertained friday night while we ate pizza and watched Narnia. So the story behind this picture is this: that black shoe she's wearing, yeah its mine, she walked around the house with that on she almost put the other one. I thought it was so stinking cute!!

I had a little fun finding eggs this year.This shirt has all of mine, and my two sisters. My little cousin cooper saw and me and yelled " You're pooping a baby!!!!".......how cute

We all get a boiled egg with our name on it and when we find it we have to give it to Grandma and she gives us like a gold dollar for it. After we peel them all and make deviled eggs out of them. This year it didnt work so well cuz the eggs were fresh.

After all the egg hunts are done its just time for us to visit and play around. Outside on the tramp the little boys were shooting the basketball in the hoop and it was great. Little boys are just entertaining and when you're not technically an adult and you don't wanna sit there and listen to everyone talk, you watch them.

This is my little cousin Clyde holding the basketball. He is like the cutest ever.

This is my cousin Cooper. I think this was his tenth tantrum in about 5 minutes and it was only because the boys wouldnt stay off the tramp so he could shoot the ball.

I love thunderstorms

So Im sitting here doing some homework and listening to the thunderstorms hoping that the power will go out........it hasnt yet

But I wanted to tell you something.

I Love Thunderstorms

I don't even really know why but there is something about them that I just love.

To me thunderstorms means getting a blanket and a book and putting on music like death cab for cutie or florence and the machine.

Doesnt that just sound idyllic?

I also love the way thunderstorms look.

I love the gray skies and the dark clouds.

Weather like this reminds me of Oregon and I wanna go back there sooooo bad!!!!!!

Another Reason I have the Worst Luck

So I told you in my last post that things just seem to happen to me no matter what. I always think " Why me????" There must be some sort of karmic force out there in the world that won't let good things happen to me until Ive done something nice. Well Hello karmic energy Im a pretty good person, yeah I could pay tithing more but give me a break, I just did something nice for someone......I just dont remember what it was.

Why all this rambling you ask? Well about two days ago my computer stopped working, everything just erased itself for no apparent reason. Every time I turned it on just BLANK. So yesterday I took it into a computer place and he looked at it and talked all this technical stuff that went in one ear and right through out the other ear. He did fix my computer......... I think but he basically said this computer is too OLD to even reinstall everything back on...........great.

Not only do I have to find money for my apartment payment this july but also to find a new laptop????? This is crazy that's never gonna happen. This may sound crazy but I wanna buy it myself even though mom says she will buy it. My parents dont have the money and my mom really wants to paint and get new carpet in the living room.

I cant believe this was happening to me. My friend has a laptop with no keyboard, she literally has to hook up a keyboard because there are so many missing from her laptop. But it still works for her so what's my problem

 Oh and I forgot to mention that in 2 weeks is finals......everything I need to study for is on that computer, thankfully i was able to get my essay off the computer before it crashed. But seriously.....it has to be right before finals?????

Just My Luck

I may possible have the WORST luck in the whole entire world, the worst things always happen to me, like getting my purse stolen, pulled over more times than anyone else in the family, and all sorts of other things that would take forever to say.

So to go on with my story.

For the past few days I have had to park on the street cuz my dad borrowed my grandpa's truck for some reason..... I still dont know why I keep telling my mom Dad just needs to get his own truck, it's what he really wants

Yep that's a light pole and what does it have to do with this post well let me tell you.

This light pole has a little bird nest in it

And I parked right under it so guess what happened?

Just guess

Yes that is my windshield and yes even though you can't see it very well, that is bird poo on my windshield

You probably dont want to see this but those are the biggest ones on my winshield

How am I supposed to clean those off a van when the hose doesnt work and I can barely reach the middle of my windshield to scrape off ice?

I dont know but Im sure its gonna be very odd

Adam and Eve were created in God's image

Sorry about no post about sunbeams last week, you were probably DYING... dont deny it I know you were!!!

So this week I was supposed to teach them about Adam and Eve and the creation of man. I dont think the kids heard one word of my lesson

For some reason everyone LOVES sitting on the table and they also LOVE jumping off the table over and over again.

It took us forever to get class actually started, there was a little argument about the prayer and one girl started to pout and cry cuz she didnt get her way.

I just love how the kids want to put an x by their name on the roll but when they dont get a turn........that's another meltdown for ya.

I finally just gave up on the whole trying to teach them about Adam and Eve, all they cared about was the picture I showed which had Adam and Eve and a tiger.

One girl, Kenadie was really into the word panther, every time I talked about the Garden of Eden she would say there was a panther there too.

I just gave up at some point and let them color, it's an apple tree like the one adam and eve ate the fruit off of.

I asked the kids if they knew the difference good and bad and this is the answer I received

Good=Heavenly father

Bad=The Devil

There was a little argument about how many apples each kid would eat, someone got mad that one girl ate 5 and he only had 3 and wanted the last one but I gave it to a girl who had only 1.

As we were getting drinks and coming back Im trailing behind them of course and I get to the classroom and Mason tells me Serrina.......how do i put this is a good not blunt awkward way.......well basically kicked him in you know that certain place. All because he went ahead of her in the line. Then Serrina spent 2 minutes pretending to hide under the table and won't apologize.

Sharing time was just the usual... I had to tell each kid more than once to sit down, Kenadie though did not want to sit down at all she probably did for like 2 minutes the whole sharing time.

I have only one more week left as a sunbeam teacher and I think Im gonna miss it a lot those kids are pretty awesome and cute.

My New Favorite

As you may know I LOVE MOVIES!!!! I am constantly watching movies, in fact today I watched 2 movies, Premonition and Killers but that's not what this post is about.

Last week I was doing homework and wanted to watch a movie but I was sick of watching the same movies over and over again so I decided to pick something new and guess what it was???

Yep that's right, Runaway Bride was the movie I picked. I had never really seen it before but it's one of my mom's favorites and I was like " what the heck I'll give it a try"

To my surprise I loved it!!!! It was funny and cute and entertaining. I like Julia Roberts movies and the only movie I've seen with Richard Gere was the only was the nicholas sparks book he was in that was just stupid. But anyway, this movie is now one of my favorites I'm probably gonna steal it from my mom when I move out......she'd never notice anyway.

So if you havent seen this movie you definitely should I'll totally watch it with you unless you know I dont know you and you live far away... I'll be there in spirit.
